What is the
Community Spotlight?
The Community Hub is an educational initiative of First Lynx LLC designed to increase awareness of disability services, community resources, accessibility, and opportunities for inclusion throughout New Jersey.
Community Spotlights celebrate the People of the Sun by highlighting individuals, families, community leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, volunteers, andcommunity businesses and organizations that are not DDD-funded providers and organizations that are making a positive impact throughout New Jersey.
Our goal is to recognize achievements, encourage community engagement, and inspire others by sharing stories of opportunity, creativity, and inclusion.
Community Spotlights are intended to celebrate people and communities and should not be interpreted as endorsements or recommendations of DDD-funded providers or services.
If it inspires the community, it belongs in the Community Spotlight.
Our Mission
The First Lynx Community Hub was created to educate, connect, and celebrate the People of the Sun. Rather than promoting specific DDD-funded providers, our goal is to introduce individuals and families to community opportunities, educational resources, accessibility information, inclusive businesses, local events, and inspiring stories that encourage independence, informed choice, and meaningful community participation.
The Community Hub exists to educate, inspire, and connect people with opportunities not to recommend providers.

All Community Spotlight submissions are reviewed prior to publication to ensure they reflect First Lynx's mission of education, inclusion, respect, and community engagement.
The First Lynx Community Hub is provided for educational and informational purposes. Businesses, organizations, community events, and individuals featured on this page are selected to promote community awareness, accessibility, inclusion, and educational opportunities.
First Lynx LLC does not endorse or recommend any DDD-funded provider through the Community Hub. Individuals and families are encouraged to explore available opportunities and make informed choices based on their own interests, needs, and preferences.

Many businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and professionals already offer services that could make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
